Vale Captain Brian Lewis Cross

My Brian left me early on Friday morning, peacefully in his sleep.

The family and I are feeling comforted that he his now flying free.

We retired to our island home after Brian finished his flying career with British Airways and Singapore Airlines in 1992, where we lived happily for 21 years.  Brian continued his ritual of diving off the end of our jetty to swim every morning for most of those years.

It will be a private cremation and if anyone would like to join us to celebrate his life on Clareville Beach on Tuesday 13th September from 3.30pm, which would have been our 58th wedding anniversary, we would be delighted to see them.

Please wear bright colours and bring picnic rugs and a plate, some light refreshments will be served.
