Another 5 Bubble Tripadvisor Review! “Look no further!" We had a great time. Location is excellent in a nice, tree-lined area, with easy access to all we wanted to do in the area. We loved the quiet and comfortable, well-appointed Pikes Peak Suite in the Rose House. Very spacious at a reasonable price, we especially enjoyed our two sitting areas - one inside, and our private balcony. The breakfasts were scrumptious - with a variety of sweet and savory. We enjoyed the company of the other guests, and the nightly "Wine & Cheese Social" was fun. But what really makes Holden House stand out is the staff. Attentive, friendly, talented, informative - they all made us feel right at home!
Built in 1902 by Mrs. Isabel Holden, the widow of a prosperous Colorado Springs businessman, the Holden House is a lovely Victorian inn featuring three adjacent homes decorated with family heirlooms and elegant antiques. We're located on a quiet tree-lined residential street, just a mile from downtown, near historic Old Colorado City and just a few minutes from quaint Manitou Springs. Holden House continues to receive the best ratings from recognized organizations such as the Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado and AAA "Best of Housekeeping" accolades. This year, we were selected once again as a "Best of the Springs" award recipient in 2023 from The Colorado Springs Gazette and Travelers' Choice Award from Tripadvisor!
