The Philadelphia Jewish Voice is proud to honor community leader Dan Segal at an evening reception on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Ardmore home of Jeff and Kathy Pasek. We are delighted that Prof. Seth Kreimer of Penn Law School will offer remarks. We write to request your sponsorship for this important event.
Dan, a founding shareholder of Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller, recently served as co-counsel for 2,400 juvenile victims of the Luzerne County “Kids for Cash” judicial scandal, achieving a settlement of over $20 million for his clients. He has been active in the Jewish and broader communities for over thirty years. Whether as president of the Juvenile Law Center, Akiba (now Barrack) Hebrew Academy or the Central Agency for Jewish Education, he has contributed enormously to the causes to which he has been so committed. Continuing his leadership, he chairs the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation and the New Israel Fund Philadelphia Regional Council.
Dan is a role model for many people, young and old. He is kind, ethical, and brilliant. He has a wonderful family. He has touched the lives of many in positive, lasting ways.
In appreciation of Dan’s service, please consider becoming a sponsor of this event. Become a Benefactor with a $500 donation. Or join our Author’s Circle with a $250 donation. You will receive two tickets to the reception and your support will be recognized in our formal invitation and program. Your donation will support the Philadelphia Jewish Voice, and is tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
Your donation will help support the Philadelphia Jewish Voice, now eleven years old. Our publication is an independent channel of communication for the entire Jewish community, reaching thousands of readers with political, cultural and social insight, a community events calendar, and new ideas for Jewish living. The journal is staffed primarily by volunteers and is circulated online without charge.
