In the spotlight:
 One of the park's original attractions, and an early icon of the park, was the hot air balloon with the Great Adventure logo. The park actually had two of these balloons, one average size and one which was the world's largest hot air balloon.
The balloons toured the east coast promoting Great Adventure when they were not offering rides in the park. The balloons had their own mooring area in the park, known as Balloon Land.
