Trevor Kelway Carol Service
|
The Annual Trevor Kelway Lodge Carol Service was held at the Masonic
Hall, Llanelli, on Saturday, 10th December, 2016, and hosted by the
Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Andrew Leahy and Mrs Tracy Leahy.
Following a ‘mulled wine’ reception and a most enjoyable Carol Service
led by members of the Llanelli Salvation Army Band, 66 brethren, ladies
and other guests sat down to a festive meal and enjoyed a convivial evening.
Many toys and gifts, donated by members, guests and others unable to
attend were presented to the Salvation Army for distribution to needy
children along with a cheque for £200 as a donation from the Trevor Kelway Lodge.
A raffle raised £215 to be used to the benefit of local good causes, with prizes donated by Lodge members.
W.Bro. Andrew and Tracy wish to thank all for their enthusiastic and generous support.

Macmillan Cancer Care has been chosen to be our special charity for
2017. As this is our tercentenary year the Provincial Grand Master
hopes to surpass the £11,000 raised last year for prostate cancer. This year’s campaign again has a health message and many if not most
members would benefit from some weight loss. Individuals can try to get
sponsorship for their effort and may I suggest that if they can’t keep to their New Year’s resolution they could forfeit a penalty donation. Full details can be found here. |
