After the success of last year’s inaugural event we are continuing
the tradition
of this popular morning.
Join with women from our offshore and neighbouring communities to consider
what
it means to be a woman of these times making a life, in all its forms,
from this
beautiful place.
SPEAKERS: ( 10-15 mins each)
Katherine Richmond, International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA),
will talk
of the projects she manages in Cambodia.
Jennifer Knox, Naval Architect & long term Scotland Island Resident,
on working
globally from an isolated community and acting locally.
Our nominated charity is the IWDA. $10 from each breakfast will go to
their work
in Cambodia. Anyone inclined to donate further; please do so on the
day.
