After the success of last year’s inaugural event we are continuing the tradition of this popular morning.

Join with women from our offshore and neighbouring communities to consider what it means to be a woman of these times making a life, in all its forms, from this beautiful place.

SPEAKERS: ( 10-15 mins each)
Katherine Richmond, International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA), will talk of the projects she manages in Cambodia.
Jennifer Knox, Naval Architect & long term Scotland Island Resident, on working globally from an isolated community and acting locally.

Our nominated charity is the IWDA. $10 from each breakfast will go to their work in Cambodia. Anyone inclined to donate further; please do so on the day.

This is sure to be a wonderful morning – see you there girls!

Hear about how Aboriginal Land Councils work.

You are invited to hear Danielle Campbell and Matt Campbell speak about the Central Aboriginal Land Council on Saturday 1st March at the home of Annabelle Kristevic, 23 Richard Road, Scotland Island (the seriously blue house between Bells and Carols).

The evening will commence at 7.30pm. Bring a plate if you would like to. This should be a very interesting meeting with Danielle and Matt who can answer questions you have. If you would like any further details phone Annabelle on 9997 2610.
