Whether your child is starting "big school" for the very first time or is a seasoned veteran beginning third or fourth grade, he or she is bound to anticipate the new school year with both excitement and trepidation: will I like my new teacher? Will my friends be in my class? Will someone be mean to me on the playground? Join us for an hour of fun designed to help your youngster reflect on the coming adventures of starting or returning to school. Our leader for the hour is Whitney Roberson, who speaks "Kid" fluently and who coordinated the family ministry program at Grace Cathedral for many years. Refreshments will be served. |
