Ugh, Another Staff Meeting...

Ever attend a business meeting where most of the talk is about agenda items that didn’t get done since the last meeting?

Make meetings more productive by being very clear about how each agenda item is going to be completed.

For each “to-do” that comes from the meeting start asking - Who, What, and When?

Who in the room will be responsible for getting the task complete?

What exactly do you expect them to do?

When does if need to be done by?

Asking Who, What, When gives people specific direction and makes them more accountable.

Now you can cut your meetings short and get to work.

For Ladies Only...

Getting organized is about having systems in place to keep things from piling up and making everything you own easy and available to get to. This tip is for those women who are wearing tights this season.

At the end of the day, some of you are throwing off your tights and letting them pile up. You then wait until you’re desperate for more tights before washing them or you run out and buy more.

Start keeping up daily with the tights you wear. After taking them off in the evening, toss them onto the floor of your shower. During your shower the next morning let your shampoo, conditioner and body wash fall onto the tights while showering. At the end of your shower, rinse tights with fresh water and hang to dry.

No longer will you have piles of tights lying around to wash or need a huge stock pile of them.

When explaining this method one day to a client of mine, she got a very confused look on her face. I burst out laughing after I realized she thought I meant you wear the tights while showering!

For my male readers who just read this…I warned you in the title, that it was for ladies only. Did you really want to know what goes on behind the scenes with us? Laughing

One Last Thing...

Some of you made getting more organized a New Year’s Resolution and you haven’t done one darn thing towards that goal.

“If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.”          ~Jim Rohn

No more excuses. It’s time to start.
