Dear Families,

We are off to an amazing start of our second semester! Our students are working hard and continue to make us proud with their efforts in and out of the classroom to be a positive part of the PACK!

As we head into February and more winter weather than we have experienced in the previous months, please remind your child to have the appropriate weather gear for outdoor recess. If the temperatures (feels like) are below 10 degrees, our students will stay inside for recess. Otherwise, students head outside for their grade level and lunch recesses. Snowpants and boots are required for areas off the blacktop. Coats, has, gloves/mittens should be worn by all.

We have wrapped up mid-year testing as well as parent-teacher conferences. Thank you for taking the time to reflect on your child's progress with us.

We will be kicking off our annual fundraiser later this month. Information regarding this fundraiser will be coming home with students on February 21st.

Congratulations to all of our Spelling Bee contestants! Shally Parihar was our Daisy Brook Spelling Bee Champion and Sophia Dickson was our runner up. They will be moving on to the regional spelling bee later this month at NCRESA. We are proud of all of our kids who participated in this challenge!
