We hope you had a great summer holiday! Hopefully a long 'Indian Summer' is ahead of us so we can enjoy driving our classic cars longer in the North European region! The last weeks we tested and photographed classic cars for sale at Lex Classics and at Altena Classic & Rally Service. We drove some very special and scarce automobiles like a perfect 'high tech' 1969 Honda S800 cabriolet! Last week we were surprised with a collection of perfect Mercedes-Benz models. We were very impressed by the handling and the soundtrack of the 1958 300 SL in superb original condition and the beauty of the 1957 300 Sc roadster in 'Pebble Beach worthy' concourse condition! Today we also present two rugged 'Big Healey's, a scarce and delightful 1936 Alvis Silver Eagle and two perfectly prepared rally cars. A superb 1973 Volvo 142 S and a superb 1966 Alfa Romeo 1600 Spider 'Duetto'. This week we will drive and photograph at Smiths-Veglia if the weather allows us. Be prepared for an impressive collection af scarce Porsche sports cars!
Sincerely,
Marc Vorgers. Click the photographs to view the photo reportages immediately!
