Hello Firstname
Wednesday 13 February
Next Wednesday is the annual Keith Hewitt Lecture which this year is being given by local photographer, Clive Minnitt and is entitled Finding the Picture. Clive regularly leads tours for the "Light & Land" photo tour company as well as writing features for magazines including Outdoor Photography where he has a regular "Day out with" page. The talk will include pictures not only from around the world but also many from much nearer to home (he recently completed books on Clevedon Pier, the Gorillas of Bristol and Bristol Balloons). You can get a glimpse of Clive's work by visiting his website.

Digital Imaging Group
The next meeting of the DI Group is Monday 11 February. Ashwin has swanned off to Venice and won't be around on Monday; however, he has enrolled Neil McCoubrey as his stand-in, so we should be in for a good evening despite the absence of our leader!
Everyone is welcome and the usual request is made for members to bring along images (prints or projected) whether for discussion or just to show off - and hopefully Neil won't forget the chocolate biscuits!

BPS Member Holds Exhibition At Bristol Record Office
BPS Deputy Chairman, Neil McCoubrey has a selection of his work on show at the Bristol Record Office from 12 February to 31 May. The pictures have been taken by Neil over the last year or so when he had unique access behind the scenes at BRO. The exhibition, "The Still-Life of a Strongroom" aims to capture the emotions evoked in him by the serenity, the accidental beauty and the hundreds of years of personal touches to be found in Bristol's archives. You can view the poster for the exhibition here or you can visit the BRO website.
