Pittwater Council is undertaking some roadworks on Scotland Island for
approximately six weeks. They will be clearing the drains and pits; diverting
water back into drains in some areas; completing major drainage work on
Robertson Road at the corner near Yamba; re-surfacing Robertson Road from that
corner and coming up towards the Catherine Park steps.
Council Staff are aware that traffic is on the roads and any delay will be
minimal, except when the drain is put in place across Robertson Road at which
time it will be closed to vehicles. Advance notice of this closure will be
given and there will be a notice advising dates. It has been requested that
this closure not occur on a Monday, due to the recycling collection.
Please give Council Staff your support whilst they are on the Island and make
them feel welcome.
