Greetings and welcome to the report.  There is much to address so let's get right to it:

 

There was overwhelmingly positive response to our return to the "Mighty Manatees" moniker.  It will take a few weeks to get mightymanatees.com back up and running but losmanatees.com will continue to remain in effect. 

 

There was also overwhelming response to our new CD name opinion poll.  A few of our suggestions for the name of our new album shot up the chart while some of you suggested new names of your own.  Here are a few recent entries:

Manatee keyboardist Karl Frick helms Lakestone Studios in Barto, PA.  Latest releases include the new Jack Murray album, "Then There's That..."  www.jackmurray.net  and Ray Adkins new live solo CD, "Live At Landhaven".  Karl continues to work on the Ranger Will CD.

 

Manatee bassist Randy Wagner has been creating sonic dreamscapes at his Digital Audio Workstation (Apple Logic Pro) as well as working on both the Ray Adkins and Ranger Will studio albums.

 

Manatee Fun Fact:  Did you know that the manatee was recently taken off of the endangered species list?  Its true!

 

Guitarist Jim Steager first started sitting in with the band last summer.  Since then he has become a welcome face at our on-stage jam sessions.  Jim released a solo instrumental album called, "Safe Journeys".  We look forward to playing more with him in the future.

 

Keyboardist David M. Hawkins has started a web-site that composes music to your words.

Come out and celebrate Manatee maiden Cherri's birthday this Sat., March 1, at Cedars Pub in Skippack, PA.  Showtime is 9:30.

 

The Mighty Manatees will be celebrating the grand re-opening of Traxx in Colmar, PA on Fri., March 14.  Showtime is 9:30.

  

Manatee Fun Fact:  Did you know that my son Liam's girlfriend Emily Dahl makes delicious manatee-shaped doughnuts?  It's true!
