Towlers Bay power supply update
An update regarding the power supply at Towlers Bay for your readers:
Ausgrid crews need to interrupt the power supply to homes on Bona Crescent and Heswell Ave at Towlers Bay tomorrow so we can hook up a larger generator until the powerlines connecting the substation there can be rebuilt.
The demand for electricity appears to spike on the weekends, so an additional generator will help ensure there is enough capacity to supply the area safely.
The power interruption is expected to last for about 2 hours, between 12pm and 4pm tomorrow, Thursday 2 March.
We expect this will minimise the interruptions customers have been experiencing. Crews have also connected a larger generator to the YHA.
We thank residents for their patience as work to return to the local network to normal continues. Should they need to report any other issues please call us on 13 13 88.
