March 2013
Simple. Organized. Life-Changing.
Forte Organizers helps individuals and families stay organized at home, as well as teaching business people organization skills at work.
In the News...
Your perfectionism may be the reason you’re not getting organized. In Lori’s Dayton Daily News column, Get More Done by Letting Go, learn ways to get past perfectionism to get your spaces organized.

Her second article, Get behind the Wheel of a Neater Automobile, is a must read if your car could use an organizing boost.

If you have an idea for an article, I’d like to hear from you. Please contact me at lori@forteorganizers.com with your article ideas.

Keep Track Your To Do's...
If you use your email inbox as your to-do list, change the subject line to the action you need to take. This saves time by keeping you from rereading the entire email to determine the task you planned on doing.

Reduce Your Paper Piles...
Are you unsure how long you should keep the paper in your home office?  Ask your accountant for a records retention schedule or go online to find one.  This schedule will give you a guideline for which paperwork to save and how long you need to keep it.

Announcements...
Forte now has a Facebook page where you’ll find tips, information, and links which help you tackle your organizing projects.

Charitable Recycling collects old computers, electronics, appliances, and empty ink cartridges to help raise funds for Dayton Children’s Hospital. For drop-off and pick-up details, contact donations@charitablerecyclingohio.com or call 937-258-0386.

Events...
Free Drug Drop-Off Day. Dispose of expired/unwanted medications on Monday, March 25 from 10am-2pm at Hithergreen Center located at 5900 Hithergreen Drive, Dayton, 45429. The program provides a disposal method which keeps our children safe; and our water system and wildlife protected from these harmful chemicals.
