At the tender age of 20, Laura Marling has already far surpassed her contemporary peers in the British folk scene and is the latest artist to take part in our Blue Series of releases.
Produced by Jack White, for her recording Laura Marling chose two incredible dark folk classics and does them heavenly justice: Jackson C Frank’s “Blues Run The Game” and Neil Young’s “The Needle And The Damage Done”. Marling recorded the tracks - in one perfect take – earlier this year.

Continuing on with the labels’ new tradition of selling Tri Colors in the artist’s hometown, 100 Tri Color versions of the single will be available exclusively through the Rough Trade East record shop in London on Saturday 13th November.
