£7000 for Spitfire Museum
Over the last 5 years, Pauline Dennis, the widow of W Bro Brian Dennis of Neyland Lodge no 990 has raised over £7000 for the Welsh Spitfire Museum by stiching the names of all the visitors on to a cloth in return for a donation. Pauline is 89 years young, but still an active member of the community and one of the first to be at lodge socials and widows events. A lovely lady and a valued member of the Masonic family.  Yes Neyland Lodge’s name is embroidered on the cloth!

St David's Cathedral Donation
Very Reverend Jonathan Lean, Dean of St David's Cathedral receives cheques totalling £10,000 from RW Bro Stephen Hookey.
Thursday 3rd March 2016 was a busy day for our Provincial Grand Master. Prior to attending the Aberystwyth Celebration Meeting he presented cheques from UGLE and The West Wales Grand Charity totalling £10,000 to the Dean of St David's Cathedral, Very Reverend Jonathan Lean. The Cathedral is planning to spend the money on more specialist chairs (see below). The chairs can be stacked 40 high and moved around the cathedral on their own wheels, giving huge flexability for different types of occasions. The same chairs are used in St Paul's Cathedral for exactly the same reasons.
