TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index edged up 1.14 % today to close at 109,937, partially recovering yesterday’s losses. Metallic Ore (+2.63%) was the top performing sector of the day, while Machinery & Equipment (-1.88%) was the biggest faller. The highest daily trade volume was recorded by Base Metals (+2.47%) with IRR 479 billion (approx. USD 11.2 million) in trades. Today the stocks making the biggest impact on the All-Share Index were Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +2.80%), Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (PKLJ +2.74%) and National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI +2.29%). The most traded share on the TSE was Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +2.80%) with volume of IRR 243 billion (approx. USD 5.7 million). Total traded value of the market reached IRR 2,628 billion (approx. USD 62 million), down 31.1% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization rose 1.72% to close at 5,371, with Mines & Metals Development Investment Co. (MADN +4.65%) leading gainers and Fajr Petrochemical Co. (FAJR -4.20%) falling the most. The total traded value of the top 30s fell 42% from yesterday to IRR 1,057 billion (approx. USD 24.7 million).
