I am sure his soul will be in a peaceful and rested place free from the suffering and stress that his body endured in those last days from the leukemia that had set in.
I can picture him watching down on his children and grandchildren who he adored so much and who so much adored him back and all his friends.
He was much loved by many in London's art community, a member of the Chelsea Arts Club, a pioneer of underwater photography, an integral member of St.Anne's parish church on Kingston Hill and as a grandfather he was the best role model teaching his grandchildren Leo and Lucia how to swim from an early age.
As a teenager he was a champion boxer (left handed) at Fitzroy Lodge, London and always had a wonderful appetite for adventure. From his twenties onwards he found his passion discovering and photographing the world underneath the surface of the ocean across the globe and befriended and photographed the most deadliest of sharks..
He married Shelley who is a beautiful and wonderful woman. Shelley and Terry brought up two amazing children Francesca and Alex who are at this time gathered together in mind, body and soul to grieve the passing of their Dad. We look forward to gathering together with his wider friends and family to celebrate the life of Terry in the coming weeks following the end of Pandemia and to enjoy the memories, pictures, music and legends that filled so much of his life.
I have so many fond and amusing memories of Terry both as a family member and as part of my working life as he was often responsible for hanging all the works and featuring his own work in Art Below exhibitions. He had his own special way of doing things that were unique to himself and somehow it all seemed to come together and work in the end..
Terry...you lived life to the full...journey well into the next life....I'm sure you will be much loved in that world as you are in this.
