Meet the author of several historical books published by Arcadia, including San Francisco's Richmond District and San Francisco's Sunset District. Ungaretti will discuss her new book chronicling the years 1847 through 1964 in the city's largest neighborhood: The Sunset District. Ungaretti's well-researched book includes quotations from people connected to the Sunset, in-depth profiles of four people who were part of the growing Sunset District, and almost 200 archival photographs.

Ungaretti is the daughter of Dorothy Bryant, a Bay Area fiction writer and playwright. Both women are long-time Bay Area writers.
