PRIVATE SHOPPING
HOURS

Available on Request

We will be closed July 4 & 5 to celebrate the holiday with our families.

Summer is here and boy were we ready for it!! We love knitting with plant fibers- everything from cool summer tops to market bags to home decor. The coolness of the fibers are such a welcome contrast to the warmth of the air and the act of knitting keeps our hand busy and our minds calm.

Due to slower business and the additional work behind-the-scenes, we have decided to keep our shorter hours (Tuesday-Sunday 12-4pm) for the remainder of the summer. We will still continue to offer apointment shopping outside of business hours as well as contactless curbside pickup and shipping. Our goal is to serve everyone safely.

Appointments for private shopping can be made at least 24 hours in advance via phone or email.

Since we have such a small space, there will be a two customer limit at all times with a sign on the door indicating if we are at capacity. If you arrive and we are full, we ask that you wait in your car for the sign to flip.

All customers will be required to wear masks while in the shop. We have a limited amount of cloth masks available if you need one and when those run out we have some locally-made ones available for purchase.

Please do not wear gloves in the shop. Instead, we are asking everyone to wash their hands upon entering the shop, rewashing or using hand sanitizer as needed.

If you don't feel comfortable coming inside or you want to grab something quick, we are still offering contactless curbside pickup during any of the shop hours. There are THREE ways to order from us: you can e-mail us at rebellegirls@gmail.com, you can call us at 859-389-9750, or you can order some of the kits we have assembled at mkt.com/rebelle. If you order by phone or e-mail we will send you a Square invoice and you can choose to pick up your order during shop hours or have it mailed directly to you. For curbside pickup, give the shop a call when you arrive and we will place your order on the porch.

New in the Shop!!
The National Parks yarns from Knitted Wit are back!! Pictured above are the colors for July- Canyonlands, Gateway Arch, Glacier Bay, and Mt. Hood. We have several of the May and June colorways still in stock, but these tend to go fast so if there is something you love make sure to grab it or ask us to ship it. For those who didn't participate last year, the parks yarns come with a passport and you will get a stamp for each one you buy. At the end of the summer, turn in your passport to us and if you have four stamps you get a patch and if you have 16 stamps you will get a pin.
Another new yarn we added for the summer is Marmot by Louisa Harding. This is an aran 50% cotton, 50% acrylic blend yarn that gives fun self patterning effects. It is great for openwork and striping patterns. We really like it for market bags like the Farmer's Market Bag sarah knitted (pictured below.) it also makes an excellent warm weather version of the Night Shift Shawl and would be perfect for the person in your life who can't do wool.

Virtual Events!!!
For July's shop KAL, we will be knitting the Casapinka pattern of your choice. There are tons of designs to choose from including the Breathe and Hope Shawl and the Hug shot shawl that we sold as kits in April and June. This is also a great way to use up some stash yarns, maybe pair them with a skein or two of new yarn.

Robyn created a Ravelry bundle with several pattern ideas if you need some help finding the perfect pattern. She is also available if you need help finding a pattern for a particular yarn.

All ReBelle knit alongs are free and open to the public. You are welcome to attend as many or as few of the KAL sessions as you like.

She is also available if you need help finding a pattern for a particular set of yarns or a technique you want to learn.

We have decided to continue hosting Tuesday evening (7-9pm) stitch-ins on Zoom every week for the remainder of the summer. Community is important and we found that these virtual meetups are a great way to fight cabin fever and to connect with other crafters. Plus, if you find yourself stuck on a project, there will always be someone there to help you out. All stitch-ins are free, join us every Tuesday at 7pm!!
