It is our favorite time of year- Knitted Wit National Parks Club season!!! Every month from May-August, Knitted Wit will release 4 new colorways inspired by National Parks areas, such as National Recreation Areas, Heritage sites, etc. This will be the final year for the National Parks Club so Knitted Wit is going to revisit their 16 most popular parks colors. For July we have Grand Teton, Olympic, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and Yosemite National Parks.
As usual, there is a Passport to track your parks purchases from us and other local yarn shops as you travel through the summer. Due to Knitted Wit's announced closure at the end of August, there won't be a pin or patches this year for people who filled or bought 4 of the yarns, but we are working on a little something to commemorate the finishers this year. Stayed tuned. |
For the first weekend of the Heartland Yarn Adventure, Maps Yarn will be taking over the classroom of ReBelle with a selection of yarns, patterns, and other goodies.
Conley is a local dyer here in Lexington, Ky. She started Maps Yarn when she discovered the joy of small batch dyeing in her backyard and never looked back. She is an avid knitter and a blooming knitwear designer, her first design, the Dandelion Halter Bralette, was published last year and she has since published 10 more designs that all work well with her yarns.
The yarns will be set up all weekend and Conley will join us in person from 11am-3pm on Saturday for a Meet the Maker. You can ask her questions, get her project advice, and even place custom orders if she doesn’t have exactly what you are looking for. Come discover your next favorite skein!
