CLEAN UP ON SCOTLAND ISLAND Monday 30 March ... Material must be placed out by Sunday, March 29 for collection – anything placed out after this date may not be collected. Council will tour the Island on the morning of Monday, March 30 and place stickers on any unacceptable material – if you find your material has a sticker, please remove it from the road and make alternative disposal arrangements. Building materials will not be collected – only material classified as “manageable quantities” cut to the required size will be collected. Please contact contractors for collection and disposal of building materials. Unacceptable material not collected leaves our Island roads looking unsightly.  If possible, try to contain/bag small items for easier collection and less litter left behind – especially screws/nails or the like as these can cause tyre punctures!
