TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share
Index started the week positively following the outcome of the presidential
election, closing at 81,078 for one-day gain of 0.91%, its biggest daily
increase in 2017. Most sectors ended up, led by Automotive (4.18%).
Engineering Services (-0.03%) and Telecommunication (-0.02%) were the only
major sectors to fall. Automotive also posted the highest volume with IRR 595
billion (approx. USD 15.8 million) in trades. The main movers of the
All-Share Index were led by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (PKLJ
+2.58%), SAIPA Group (SIPA +4.49%) and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA
+2.89%). SAIPA Group was the most traded individual stock with volume of IRR
282 billion (approx. USD 7.5 million). In total over one billion securities
were exchanged on the TSE for IRR 3,319 billion (approx. USD 89 million), up
82% from the last trading session on Wednesday.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty
largest companies by market capitalization closed up 0.65% at 3,150. SAIPA
Group (SIPA +4.49%) led gainers while Pardis Petrochemical Co. (PRDZ -1.06%)
fell the most. Total traded value of the top 30s dropped 16% to IRR 499
billion (approx. USD 13.3 million).
