Launch of the 2012 Young Entrepreneur Initiative Competition

"LED Lighting Revolution"

Audrey GUAZZONE
- The YEi 2012 Competition is designed to accelerate startups expansion to France by preparing entrepreneurs to the French innovative ecosystem and connecting them to the right partners (whether Academic or Industrial).- The YEi Academy is an innovative coaching program for American entrepreneurs, incubators professionals and entrepreneurship community managers. It is comprised of a 2 days summer boot camp and a personal training.

Rose Goehner
- Rose will provide an overview of how LED lamps are revolutionizing the lighting experience. She will begin by reviewing how this technology works. Since the luminous efficacy (amount of visible light produced per unit of electrical power input) varies widely between products, she will discuss ways to identify a good LED lamp. Rose will discuss the life-cycle cost of LED alternatives, focusing on the advantages of LED over traditional lighting sources. The presentation will end by showcasing some working samples of LEDs that are available in the market now, including T-8 tube lights and 6-inch can lights
