1 Corinthians 15:8 Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.
THESE ARE THE THE FACTS: CHRIST THROUGH HIS RISING RESTORES US TO LIFE!
As we have seen, Paul was not the only believer "born out of time," brought to faith after the fact. Nor are we. Some were born too early.
We confess our faith with another believer born out of due time, a few years too early to see His Savior physically. Of Abraham, Jesus says, "[He] rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad" (John 8:56). Another believer born a few years too early to see the actual resurrection was the believer is Job, who confessed, "I know that my Redeemer lives, and that He shall stand at last on the earth; And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another" (Job 19:25-27).
Through His Word our Lord preserves us in this hope, that we do not believe in vain, but that we will enter into everlasting life on account of the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our living Savior.
