Join Stitch London's Stitch Crawl 2012 for our Giant Jubilee Stitch Picnic

This summer, to celebrate the Jubilee and World Wide Knit in Public Day, Stitch London are taking their stitching outside and we want you to join us!

We're gathering for a FREE Giant Jubilee Stitch Picnic in Jubilee Gardens for making, munching and merriment.

The Stitch Picnic will feature:

Workshops and talks: Join Mr X Stitch for some cool cross stitch, Momtaz Begum-Hossain (whose fabulous The Make Escape open in London this week) for some splendiferous sewing and the infamous Deadly Knitshade for some nifty knitting, and learn a little bit about what they do. Workshop places will be available for a donation to P/hop.

Raffle: Win a whole load of wondrous prizes in the Really Rather Marvellous Raffle with prizes from some of London's most fabulous crafty people. There'll be kits, books, hand-dyed yarn and all manner of lovely stuff up for grabs.

Public craft pride: Craft in the sunshine with loads of other lovely crafters. Bring your blanket, your current crafty project, and stuff to munch and slurp. Share your crafty love with like-minded handmade heroes on the craftiest day of the year. All ages of stitchers are welcome so bring tiny stitchers too!

A very good charity cause: We'll be raising money for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) through the P/hop project and all money raised will go to the charity. A warm fuzzy feeling for public crafting? Win win.
