TSE All-Share Index
Tehran stocks continued their
downward trend on Monday with the TSE All-Share Index closing 0.17% lower at
78,859. The majority of sectors fell, led by Rubber & Plastics (-1.78%).
The top performing sector of the day was Machinery & Electric Equipment
(+1.27%). Chemical sector (+0.15%) saw the highest trades with IRR 107
billion (approx. USD 2.8 million). Mobile Telecommunication Co. of Iran (HRMZ
+1.10%), Persian Gulf Industries Co. (PKLJ +0.59%) and Esfahan Oil Refining
Co. (FOLD -1.94%) had the most impact on the All-Share Index today. The most
traded stock was construction company Sakht Ajand (SAJN -4.51%) with volume
of IRR 38 billion (approx. USD 1 million). Total traded value on the TSE fell
55% to USD 29 million, mostly because of fewer trades in debt securities.
TSE30 Index
The
TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization closed
at 3,056, down 0.17% from yesterday. The top gainer was Mobile
Telecommunication Co. of Iran (HRMZ +1.10%) while Tejarat Bank (BTEJ -2.89%)
was the weakest. Total traded value of the top 30s fell 13% to IRR 192
billion (approx. USD 5 million).
