We're off to a really good start this season!  I think we will top our performance of last semester - and that was a reeeaally good concert!
 
If anyone would be able to host a sectional, I can be available to help run the sectional on any of the following evenings:  Thursday, February 1, 8 or 15 from 7:00 -9:00 pm.

4.  Registration Continues for Two More Weeks...
We are still taking registrations at weekly rehearsals for the next two weeks.  Dues for returning members are $50 for the semester. First-time members can register for a special new member price of $45.  On-site registration will continue on January 22nd and the 29th.  Payment at on-site registration may be by cash or check (no credit cards).
 
Please reach out to any and all of your singing friends and invite them to try us out.  

Registration will open at 6:30 before rehearsal.
5.  December Concert CD's...
As requested, pre-paid orders will be taken for CDs of our December concert at our next rehearsal. These recordings are for your personal use only. We do not have copyright permission to distribute recordings. Please do not purchase them for anything other than your own use.  Copies will be $10 payable in cash or check made out to ACI. After material costs and sales tax, about $7 per copy will go toward future chorus expenses. Purchased copies will be available by the end of the month.
 
6.  Music Scores...
Temporary use of music scores for our semester repertoire is included in your chorus fee. Scores are collected at the end of the semester and filed for future use. You may mark up the scores in pencil and often will be requested to do so. If you make a copy for permanent markup, say with a highlighter, or copy the score into a music app, please destroy such copies after the semester to keep our chorus in compliance with copyright regulations.

8.  About Perfumes, Scents, Essential Oils and Garlic Around Your Neck...
Please remember to avoid wearing perfumes, colognes, essential oils and other scents to rehearsals as they create respiratory discomfort for some of our singers.
9.  Voice Exercises and Warmups...
Looking for a way to exercise your voice between rehearsals? Cyberbass is free website that has sizeable list of vocal warmups that play on your computer, smartphone or tablet. You can also purchase CD's with various exercises and warmups if you choose.  Go to
