Emma's Smalliday and Gnome Made Gifts MKAL

  

Our first Advent-ish kit is a customer favorite from Emma's Yarn- introducing the Smalliday Set. Each Smalliday Set (previously known as the Advent Set) comes in an adorable Emma’s Yarn project bag, includes 25 individually wrapped Smalls – perfect for treating yourself or a loved one to a small-a-day for 25 days in December, a Love + Leche Little Bee lotion bar, and an insert with suggested knit and crochet patterns. We also created an advent pattern bundle here if you need more project inspiration.

 

We have two different Smalliday options: 

 

Practically Perfect Small Set:  Fingering weight, 80% Superwash Merino / 20% Nylon – 2,025 yards $200 

 

Simply Spectacular DK Small Set:  DK weight, 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon – 1,250 yards $200

  

Looking for a smaller Advent project? Sarah Schira of Imagined Landscapes is once again doing her holiday mystery knit along. For this year's project, "Gnome Made Gifts", Emma's Yarns created 7 color packs. We currently have all seven in stock, plus a huge selection of minis if you would rather create your own. Once you have your minis, you can purchase the pattern on Ravelry or Payhip and every day in December leading up to Christmas you will recieve part of the pattern and some other special bonuses. It is a lot of fun and we are excited to be participating in it once again. 

New In The Shop

  

Just when we thought we had added all the yarn we were going to add this year, we stumbled upon Urth Yarn's Koozoo, a bulky weight superwash merino with some beautiful gradient colorways. We tried to resist, but we couldn't. Sarah has already designed a simple one-skein hat pattern that's free in the shop with yarn purchase. It's so much fun to knit with she knit up 3 of the 4 sizes (adult, toddler, and baby) in just 2 days. Other projects we really like this yarn for include the Super Bulky Fragilistic Expialidocious shawl or the Sidewinder Hat Hat and Cowl. 

We have been flying through the Feederbrook Farm Entropy over the past few months so we decided to increase the stock before the holidays. We have a few new colorways as well as lots more of your favorites. This yarn has been very popular for the varous shift patterns, but it is also an excellent choice to use on its own for things like hats and mittens. Come see why it is one of our favorites!!

    

We showed off our selection of point protectors last month and y'all seemed to really love them. Like, a lot. Luckily, we were able to get a few more shipments before the holiday season. we now have Christmas-themed point protectors, adorable cows, donuts, alpacas, yaks, and baby Yodas! These would make great stocking stuffers for the knitters in your life.
