KenKuro and Beyond Exposure proudly present Us3 DJ unit from London at Peter, The Peninsula Tokyo. Us3 is widely known for its ledendary "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)" which sampled Harbie Hancock's "Cantaloup Island". It entered the US top ten and was included on Hand on the Torch, the first Blue Note album to achieve Platinum status (1,000,000 sales) in the US.

Adding special glamour is 2012 A/W collection show by BCBGMAXAZRIA, a fashion label from L.A. Their dresses are loved by Hollywood celebrities including Sharon Stone, Beyonce Knowls, Halle Berry and Alicia Keys. BCBGMAXAZRIA is the official supplier of 2012 Miss Universe Japan.

The night will be full of entertainment as we will have two DJ stations with 8 additional DJs and a live show by Miou, who has performed in various cultural events around the globe.

Us3 was founded by London-based Geoff Wilkinson. Geoff's style of incorporating all genres music from Jazz, Bass & Drums, Latin and Hip Hop never stops evolving and always surprises people with its creativity.

Their latest album "Lie, Cheat & Steal" was released in 2011 and ranked No.5 best album on influential U.S. rap website www.RapReviews.com.

A gig at The Peninsula Tokyo will be by Us3 DJ Unit; the leader Geoff and DJ First Rate.

DJ First Rate was a member of Scratch Perverts, the legendary 4-men crew that won the first team champion at DMC World Champiionship. His acrobatic play using every part of body surely makes you hold your breath.

Us3はロンドンを拠点とするジェフ・ウィルキンソンによって創設されました。

Matsuura Toshio 松浦俊夫

He formed United Future Organization (U.F.O.) in 1990 with two other members which marked the foundation of Japanese club culture.

In 12 years they released 5 albums in 32 countries, creating high sensation of their jazz/crossover tunes. After leaving U.F.O. in 2002 he kept playing solo and has done remixes of James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire to Astor Piazzolla and Gotan Project and created a compilation series to major fashion brands. He hosts "Tokyo Moon" on Inter FM from 7 p.m. every Sunday.

TAKEHANA EIJI 竹花英二（JAZZ BROTHERS)

He made his debut as Jazz Brothers on compilation "Multidirection" supervised by United Future Organization. Other labels have utilized Eiji’s skills as a remixer. An list of credits includes Peter Nice Trio(HOSPITAL), Florinda Bolkan(IRMA), Pizzicato Five, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Kiyoshiro Imawano. Three years from 1998 has seen Eiji performing at Yohji Yamamoto's Paris Collection.

Eiji is currently the resident DJ for the MADO LOUNGE in Roppongi, FIAT SPACE and club ever in Aoyama. We may follow his radio DJ proposal at weekly radioshow “Jazz Brothers” on Shibuya FM 78.4MHz.

United Future Organization （U.F.O.）監修のコンピレイション『Multidirection』にてJazz Brothers名義でデビュー。ピーター・ナイス・トリオ(HOSPITAL)、ピチカート・ファイヴ、東京スカパラダイスオーケストラ、忌野清志郎、井出麻里子などの楽曲リミックスを手掛け、98年より3年間Youji Yamamotoのパリ・コレクションにて選曲／DJを行う。

Kiraz

22 year old Kiraz from Sweden has since a young age been influenced by electronic music. After having DJed in Sweden for two years she moves to Tokyo to enter the vibrant club scene of this metropolis. Here, her career is off to a flying start and she is quickly booked for events at some of the biggest and most prestigious clubs in Japan. She appears at Tokyo venues such as Velours, Womb, Club Asia and the massive club Ageha. Atsuko

Having been a popular model for years, Atsuko was always intrigued by the music played at fashion shows and parties. In 2009 she made a debut as a DJ at an international party in Tokyo and immediately became the sensation.

Despite her soft and tender appearance, she plays deep house peppered with electro tunes and techno beats.

In 2011 she played at the Tokyo's biggest Halloween party in 2011 at Mado Lounge in Roppongi hills and opened the Hotel Costes 15 release party with Stephane Pompougnac at The Peninsula Tokyo.

Born and raised in the Belgian city of Ghent, home to the legendary R&S and MusicMan labels, host to Europe's biggest indoor electronic music festival and breeding ground for a new generation of sonic pioneers including Soulwax, Hans was bound to fall prey to the claws of beat culture.
