Eduardo Belo Choro Ensamble

"Choro" music emerged from the melting pot of 19th century Rio de Janeiro. It is a uniquely Brazilian fusion of European harmonic and melodic sensibility coupled with an Afro-Brazilian approach to rhythm, being the first national music of Brazil. Choro is a pivotal influence and a precursor of the worldwide-known music of Samba and Bossa-Nova. "Eduardo Belo Choro Quartet" carries along this tradition in NYC music scene.
