ReBelle will be closed July 3rd-8th for vacation, we will reopen with normal business hours on July 9th.
We are very excited to be hosting the fine folks of Anzula and thier travelling trunk show for one afternoon only!! Mark your calendars, for Sunday, July 24th from 1-3pm when Anzula will be bringing thier vintage suitcase collection filled with their hand-dyed yarns and fibers, patterns, and sample knits (including ones that we don't normally carry.) They will also be available to answer your questions for the duration of the show. Facebook event here.
To sweeten the deal, we are going to do a door prize drawing for one of the 5 early admission tickets to our 10th Anniversary Celebration in September!!
UPCOMING EVENTS
August 9 - 14
This year we will be participating in the I-75 yarn crawl, one of the largest yarn crawls in the country! There will be great prizes and events happening at the 35 participating shops. Passports for the event are $5 and if you register by July 1st, you will receive a limited edition tote bag for the event. You can register here. Set your pickup location as ReBelle for a chance to win one of five early entries to our 10th Anniversary Sale.
August 13
We love local artists and as a way to celebrate our community we have scheduled a series of pop-up shops with area artists thoughout the fall. We are excited to kick off the series with Erin of Rock and String Creations!! We know that many of you are already big fans of Erin's beautiful handdyed yarns and fibers, but if you haven't had the chance to experience them, this is the perfect time. Facebook event here.
This event will be happening during the I-75 Yarn Crawl so all participants coming through the shop during the pop-up shop will be entered to win a bonus prize!!

ReBelle's 10th Anniversary Sale and Celebration
And speaking of out 10th Anniversary Sale, we've announced our 10th Anniversary Contest, magical faux taxidermied animals! Voting will take place at our 10th Anniversary Sale on September 10th and first prize is a $100 gift certificate to ReBelle and there will be trophies for first, second and third place! We have a fresh batch of colors for Anzula Breeze. This is a great Summer yarn made from 65% silk and 35% linen with 750 yards per 100g skein. Check out the Pebble Beach Shawl in the shop that Raellyn made with just one skein! |
We brought a bunch of new shawl pins back from TNNA for you! Above are the intricate silver designs of Jul Silver. Below you can see the ceramic shawl sticks, pins and brooches with unique glaze effects by Lickin' Flames. They are the perfect accessory to complement a handknit shawl!

Koigu KPPPM is a fabulous fingering weight yarn sold in 50g skeins with 175 yards of 100% superwash merino per skein. Koigu is renowned for it's vibrant hand painted colorways. This yarn is great for any fingering weight project from socks to shawls to sweaters. We've used it to knit up the Leyburn Socks, Fine and Dandy Socks and Hitchiker. |

Fundamentals of Shawl Knitting
Robyn will be teaching this great series on shawl knitting, sign up for all of them or just the ones you need! The facebook event is here and you can register online here.
Basic Shapes ($30)
Come learn basic shawl construction as we knit the four most common shawl shapes. This class is an early intermediate class so you need to be comfortable knitting, purling and making basic increases. You will need 50g of worsted weight yarn, 5 stitch markers, and a set of US8 needles for this class.
**Enrollment in this class also gets you a free space in the July 17 blocking class.**
Saturday, July 9th, 1-4pm
Basic Lace and Chart Reading ($30)
In this class you will learn to read knitting charts and work basic lace patterns. We will cover reading your knitting and tricks for spotting mistakes in your lacework as well as ways to work back and repair mistakes. This is an intermediate class so you will need to be comfortable knitting, purling, increasing and decreasing. For this class you will need 25g of worsted weight yarn in a light color, a set of US7 needles and 6 stitch markers.
**Enrollment in this class also gets you a free space in the July 17 blocking class.**
Saturday, July 16th, 1-4pm
Blocking 101 ($15)
Come learn the basics of blocking lace. We will cover washing, blocking surfaces, blocking pins, blocking wire and steam blocking. No materials are required for this class, but if you took either of the other fundamentals of shawl knitting classes, you are welcome to bring your sample shawls and block along with me.

Granny Square Class ($25)
Come learn to crochet 3 different styles of granny squares with Raellyn. You will need to bring a size H or I crochet hook and worsted weight yarn. Beginners welcomed, but basic crochet experience is needed.

Intro to Tapestry Weaving ($75)
Come learn to weave on a tapestry loom while relaxing and sipping mimosas. This is a beginning class and no prior experience is necessary. All materials (including the loom that you get to take home) are included in the class price, but feel free to bring additional yarn, fiber, and add-ins to embellish your weaving.
