"We have always offered private tables for dinner and breakfast, so group dining has not been an issue for us - however - wine tastings all happen together at the tasting bar... and as much fun as that is... we are offering individual tastings for couples at their dining tables so guests are not missing out on anything if they are more comfortable with that set up. "Here at the Carr Manor, we have been cleaning all room surfaces with anti-bacterial wipes after guests have checked out and are using anti-bacterial wipes on all common area door knobs and light switches every day. We are offering more flexibility in cancellations and moving reservations to other dates."
"At the Avenue Hotel Bed and Breakfast we are taking the extra steps to disinfect all surfaces, door knobs, hand rails, light switches, faucets, blinds, alarm clocks and remotes in every room and common areas every day. If guests would prefer breakfast in their room we are delivering breakfast in room. Dishes run on sanitizing cycle of the dishwasher. Rooms are stripped after every check out and aired out. Replacing mattress pad, pillow covers and shower curtains, robes and sheets with clean disinfected laundry. Occupied guest rooms are also cleaned and disinfected. As a small property, these measures are easy to accomplish daily. Cleaning has always been a priority and we are just taking extra steps for the comfort and safety of our guests. All of our employees are long term, with 6 years the shortest duration of employment, therefore they care more and are more diligent in their work than large hotel chain employees. All employees wear a different set of gloves for each room they clean."
