Join Tropicalfete this Sat. 3/22/2014 100 West 77th Street as we highlight the steel drum @ VH1 Save the Music Family day event hosted by multi-platinum recording artist, actor and television personality Nick Lachey, the day offers everyone an opportunity to play, learn, share and celebrate music through a variety of interactive workshops, activities and performances including song writing by top industry professionals, instrument discovery zones, and much more. Nickelodeon characters will be there for the kids.

Steel Drum Serenade by Tropicalfete
Tropicalfete will be highlighting the steel drum instrument with a performance from pianist Ricardo Greenaway and vocalist Keran “Fimber” Deterville.  Patrons of all ages to the VH1 Save the Music Family Day event will get to play the steel drum instrument.

The day offers friends and families an opportunity to play, learn, share and celebrate music through a variety of interactive workshops, activities and performances that delight both children and adults alike!

Past Family Day expos have hosted over 2,400 guests who were able to explore, interact and enjoy live performances, games, face-painting, story time, music-themed workshops, drum circles, instrument discovery zones, a stroller parking lot and lots of free goodies from our partners!
