Franklin is a great fiddle player, operating within a wide variety of traditions, always sounding like himself. We played together for years, you can hear him on my solo storytelling CD, "Weatherbeard."

Ethan is a singer-songwriter, founder of The Hollywood Indians rock band during the same seminal music scene in Burlington that gave rise to Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, birthright traditional musician originating in Cabot, currently dividing his time between in Austin Texas and the family homestead in Plainfield.

We lived at some distance from each other yet still getting together from time to time to play, until finally our lives brought us within a few miles radius.

Ethan is following the monarch butterflies on his usual autumn migration back south to Texas in a week or so. You won't get another chance to hear this band until (possibly) next year.

\Come down to hear us if you can. We played at The Whammy Bar last night, and it was a whole lot of fun.
