This Sunday September 14, 2014, it is on the high plateau of Akoura along the Lebanon Mountain Trail path that we will discover splendid landscape of this highland that grows bare. Our hike will go through the plateau of Afka to reach the juniper forest of Jabal el Mnaitra. Impressive cliffs, solitude, serenity, silence and a change of scenery are guaranteed.
We will walk on the high road of Jabal el Mnaitra to a headland that offer us a 180 degrees view, and then downhill through a beautiful fragrant Juniper wood will lead us to the bus.

What to bring:
Hiking shoes, back pack,water,light meal (sandwich, dried fruits,..),sunglasses, sun screen, lip balm protection, hat, fleece jacket, wind breaker (K-way), emergency kit, walking pole.
Cost: $ 30 (or 45 000 LBP) covering guides, transportation, and insurance. (Kindly bring the exact change).
Feasibility:A minimum of 15 persons is required.
In case of bad weather, we usually don’t cancel the journey unless there is a thunderstorm.
The meeting is precisely at 7h30 am at the parking next to the Emergency entrance of the SacréCœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, take the road of the Presidential palace in front of the HypermarchéAbou Khalil Hazmieh, then the first turn left towards the hospital. Please, be on time!!
