Essential Equipment Monitoring

In addition to process critical assets found in industry, there's also a host of essential assets that make up the balance of the plant such as pumps, motors, blowers, heat exchangers and fans. Monitoring of these assets in the past has proved difficult and costly so they have been monitored typically on a route based manual basis. This meant that readings and measurements were taken approximately monthly. "Wouldn't it be better if... " you could continuously, cost effectively monitor essential assets and when an asset was beginning to fail, the operator is alerted so that he can follow preventative procedures to avoid production impact, environmental and safety incidents and excessive costs from catastrophic failure? Let us show you how easy it is.

Speaker: Brent Gattoni - Lakeside Process Controls
LakesideBrent Gattoni has been involved in the reliability industry for the past 15 years both as an analyst and primary consultant.  He has worked with a wide variety of industries including: automotive, steel, metals and mining, pulp and paper and chemicals and food and beverage.  Brent is currently a Reliability Specialist (since 2002) at Lakeside Process Controls representing the Emerson Process Management division of CSi.
