Psalm 107:1-2 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy ...

LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SAY SO

Above everything else we give thanks to the Lord that He has redeemed us from sin and by His blood created us to be His own special people. As the hymn writer declares: "In You is gladness." In Acts we read about Peter and Paul and the other disciples who often had nothing else. They were thrown in prison. They went without food. They were tortured. Yet they were always thankful to God and joyful in heart because they had this one thing: The Salvation of the Lord. They knew that their sins were forgiven their Savior was arisen. It was all that matter to them. *We* in our over-abundance, often forget this simple fact. Through Jesus God is our Father!
