How do we know Jesus is even at the doors? What does the Bible say?  There is much, but I want to look at two Biblical truths that encourage me that by God's grace I shall see Jesus coming in the clouds of glory very soon. The disciples asked Jesus when that day will be. Jesus answered: "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Matt. 24:36, 37. And what were the days of Noah like?  They were so bad God repented of having made man. "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart. And the LORD said, I will

destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them."  Genesis 6:5-7.

How much more has to happen before God says, enough is enough? America was Earth's last great hope. Some do not understand how evil the country has become. The wise will understand. There is no need to itemize each step in the fall from grace. The absolute bottom from what I see is what was the last thing that caused God to repent in having made man in His image. The amalgamation of animal with humans. We see this today. With the knowledge of how to split genes, we have well meaning scientists taking human genes and putting them into animals. No matter how good is the intent, the action is that which God will not allow for much longer.

The second event that encourages me Jesus is making plans, is what we read in Daniel 12:1:  "And at

And at that time...

that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book." How close is this to His coming?  "...and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that is written in the Book."  What Book? The  Book of Life. Prayerfully study the verse. Who is Michael and what does it mean He will stand up? This is all having to do with His ministry today. What is Jesus doing today? Where is He? Michael is Jesus, and He is ministering to us in the heavenly Sanctuary cleansing it from sin.

When one is sitting down working, why would he stand up? He is finished. Jesus is in  the Most Holy Place actively judging those who are written in the Book to see if their sins will be blotted or their names will be blotted out of the Book of Life. What is the significance of Jesus having finished this work? The sanctuary will then be cleansed from sin and Jesus will come quickly. What does the Bible say? "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Rev. 22:11,12.

When Michael stands up we know He will be even at the doors! But, there is more so that we can see Michael is soon to stand up? How can we know this? Because Jesus wants us to know not by our feelings, or what we see with our eyes regarding the condition of His church, but according to His Word. Again, what does the Bible say? Prayerfully we study Rev 12:1.  "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book." Here a little there a little. When Jesus is finished His work in the sanctuary, there will be no more forgiveness of sin. The converted Christians will have been sealed, never more to sin. Probation for the world has closed. The character of every human is forever fixed for either good or evil.

When does this happen? We have been given a marker in time. Not only do we know Jesus is coming quickly after the cleansing of the

sanctuary, we can also know what happens just prior to Jesus standing up.  "And at that time......shall Michael stand up...."  The question then has to be "at what time?" 12:1 makes reference to the the prior verse which is Daniel 11:45. "And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him." Someone is going to make a move into God's "glorious mountain." It is interesting that more than one religious group would think that His glorious mountain is the same mountain. It is true that Jerusalem is considered holy by three religions, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.

Do we need some evidence of this? Today, October 7, 2023 we see this evidence in full blazing color as a declared war rages over Jerusalem. Judaism and Islam are fighting over who owns Jerusalem. And the third religion, professing Christians believe and support Israel as the rightly owner. If not for God holding the four winds back, Jerusalem would have been reduced to ashes many years ago, which is similar to what Jesus prophesied would happen in 70 AD. Again, prayerfully studying Daniel 12:1 and now 11:45 we can know what event will happen shortly before probation closes and Jesus' coming soon thereafter. Who is it that is going  to set up camp in Jerusalem?

It will come as  a great surprise to many when they find out someone has been saying he is going into Jerusalem. That same one has claimed to be the defender of Jerusalem and the Palestinians. And, would it surprise you to know there is a movement to proclaim this one the leader of the "New Ottoman Empire"? It will also come as a surprise that the predominate understanding up until 50 or so years ago, many Christian denominations including Seventh-day Adventists believed Turkey would be the one to go into Jerusalem. What does 11:45 say will happen to the that one? Daniel 11:45. "And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him." He will come to his end. "And then Michael will stand up."

While Turkey has the second largest army in the Middle East, and is a member of NATO, what would happen to Turkey if they set up shop in Jerusalem? Who would make sure that the King or the North comes to his end? Who will lead the world to make an image to the Beast? Yes, America would not stand by any more than she turned a blind eye to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The common understanding in the Christian churches is that Israel is God's chosen people and they will build the temple again where the Dome of the Rock sits. The influence of Babylon on America will make sure the King of the North comes to his end.

There is a great lack of understanding in who is the King of the North today both in and out of the church. Many want to see the papacy as the King of the  North. But, if this were so, then as we have seen, her end would come before probation closes for the world. This is not true. Rome comes to her end after probation closes. But, we have good news for those who want the  papacy to be the enemy of God. There is so very much that we already understand that the beast in Revelation is indeed the papacy. But, let's add a bit that will encourage those who know who the enemy of God is in these last days and going back to 538 AD when the papacy was formed. Rev 8 and 9 tell us that the six trumpets were all warnings to Rome, the enemy of God. First pagan Rome, then papal Rome. What do we suppose the seventh trumpet is? It gets more interesting as we see the evidence pointing to this truth about God's warning to the ones serving Satan from Christ onward. We will continue this in part 2.

Today, take time to study the situation in Israel and in Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Russia, and the other Arab nations. Study especially the words coming from the leader of Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Edergon. As we share with those who have interest in Bible truth that things are not going to get better in the world, so it will be in Israel, things will not be getting better. Having studied this matter for many years, there is much evidence that Turkey wants to go to Jerusalem, and not in a friendly manner. source

Jesus loves us and has revealed to us through His prophets what is about to happen. He does not leave us in the dark. He is pouring out His Spirit upon His church that we might reveal the glory of God to a world soon to perish. When the world sees in us a reflection of Christ, they will then know there is a God of great love and power. "And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes." Eze. 36:23.
