I am very pleased to share my very first "Principal Notes" with you! Thank you for subscribing!
I can't believe we are halfway through the 2019-2020 school year. We have had a wonderful year of learning and growing together. I can't wait to see what the second half of our year brings.
In my notes I plan to highlight some upcoming events, share some important information, and also celebrate some of the wonderful things going on at Daisy Brook. I hope that you find this information useful.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
-Friday, January 17 End of semester
-Monday, January 20 PTO meeting at 6:00 in the Pathfinder Elementary Library
-Tuesday, January 21 is our American Heart Association Fundraiser kick-off. Please look for information to come home with your child on Tuesday.
-Thursday, January 30 Report cards go home
-Friday, January 31 is a half day of school for students
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
-Daisy Brook will hold our annual Science Fair on March 3rd. Registration forms are due by Friday, February 7, 2020. Please contact your child's teacher if you need another form. This is a fantastic opportunity for some of our budding scientists to showcase their ideas!
-BRRR! It has been cold outside for recess the last couple of mornings. Please make sure that your child is dressing appropriately for the weather with coats, hats, gloves, boots, etc. We head outdoors for recesses if the temperature is "feels-like" 10 degrees or warmer.
-We've had a WONDERFUL semester of Music with Mrs. Kallenbach, however, she will be heading to Pathfinder for the second semester to teach music to our K-2 friends. Beginning on January 20, 2020 we will welcome Mrs. Tricia Sparks as our Art teacher to Daisy Brook!
