Heading into the holiday season and wrapping up 2014, there is a lot of excitement around the shop and tons of great new merchandise. Before we get into all that, let's start by letting you know about our holiday hours.
 
Our holiday hours...
10am-6pm Saturday, December 20
12pm-4pm Sunday, December 21
10am-6pm Monday, December 22
10am-6pm Tuesday, December 23

We will be closed on December 24 & 25 for Christmas
and January 1 for New Years.
 
New In The Shop
We have a fresh supply of ceramic buttons in a variety of designs and sizes. These little works of art have me searching for more projects that use buttons!
We have some freshly dyed fibers and yarn from Frabjous Fibers. If you are looking for color gradients in either yarn or fiber, we have you covered! There are some lovely subtle gradients in fingering weight, perfect for shawlettes. Or you can spin your own with the 3 feet of sheep(second row) featuring a limited edition-Autumn Leaves colorway or the Colorshift Top (top!)
We don't know any knitters who aren't fans of the Slipped Stitch Studios project bags. They have handy handles, locking draw strings and pockets on the inside. We have some new designs in the Sock, Two Skein and Project size including the limited edition Dalek bags!
Looking for sheep themed things? We have project bags, zipper pouches, tape measures, umbrellas and more, great for the knitter who has everything.
We've also added some dpn protectors to out notions wall. These guys are great for holding your double pointed needles so you can transport your project without fear of your needles sliding out. Useful, adorable and locally made!

Our fair trade finger puppets make great stocking stuffers! Kids of all ages love the bright colors and fun characters and they encourage creative play! 
 
Yarn of the Month
Looking for a quick knit? Brown Sheep's Burly Spun is the Yarn of the Month for December, it will be 20% off all month long. Burly Spun is 100% wool yarn with 132 yards per giant 8 ounce skein and it knits up quickly on a US size 13-17 needle.  For our Outlander fans, the Outlander Cowl inspired by the show would be perfect in this yarn.
