We're excited to share another week of news & ideas with our MAiZE family. There never seems to be a shortage of ideas and the truth is that some of the best originate with all of you! So, if you ever have an idea you'd like us to pass along to the group, please just send it our way. Register by Saturday for Behind the Scenes Tour
Register by June 30 for best rates for the Behind the Scenes in Michigan this August 10-11, where we'll be visiting FOUR of our amazing MAiZE farms. Continuing the tradition we began in 2014, every two years we come together to visit MAiZE family farms once they have opened (or are very close to opening) for a behind-the-scenes VIP learning  experience.

Custom Evergreen Orders Due June 30

Hi MAiZE site owners!
Aaron Burakoff here, letting you know about a couple of upcoming deadlines for two of our new Evergreen Creations products:
 

1. Personalized “All About Pumpkin, All About Apple, and All About Corn” Farm-Fresh Activity Packets!
We introduced these activity packets last fall and they were a HUGE hit with teachers, kids, and parents at many MAiZE locations!  Please let us know ASAP if you'd like to order packets that include your farm name/logo/contact info on the front and 6, double-sided activity cards on the inside that educate your visitors about produce.  CUSTOM ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BEFORE THE END OF JUNE!
 
2. Custom "Farmer [YOUR NAME] Had A Farm" Sing-Along Trail Signage!
This set of outdoor signage includes a fully customized intro sign with your cartoon on it and 10 animal-themed signs to help entertain and educate your visitors as they learn about farm animals.  PLEASE PLACE YOUR ORDER BY JULY 15 TO ENSURE DELIVERY FOR THE FALL SEASON!

College Scholarship Applications Due July 15
Due to the generous support of the Corn Party auction, this year 9 scholarships in the amount of $3000 will be awarded to students enrolled for full-time upper education (i.e., college, tech school, etc.) in the fall of 2018. Applications are due July 15.

Those eligible to apply for the Daniel Huffstutler & Dale Herbst scholarship include immediate family members of current MAiZE farm owners, or any farm employee who has worked on your farm for at least 3 years. Those who have applied in the past are encouraged to apply again, as long as they have not yet received the scholarship. Past winners of this scholarship are not eligible to re-apply.
Applicants must be enrolled to attend college (or other forms of higher education) this fall. We appreciate all those who contributed to making so many scholarships possible this year.
