Who is
Isabel Holden?
Isabel Holden was the widow of prosperous Colorado Springs businessman Daniel Holden. The Holdens met in the mid-1800's when they traveled by wagon train from the east. The former Miss Isabel Hayden met and married Daniel and settled on the eastern plains as ranchers until Daniel passed away unexpectedly. Isabel moved to the city to educate their six children and built the home in 1902. The spirit of Isabel lives on at Holden House with our dedication to historic surroundings combined with modern amenities.
