Native Plant Conservation Campaign News: NPCC welcomes the Center for Plant Conservation as our 56th Affiliate!

The Center for Plant Conservation (CPC) is the latest NPCC Affiliate group. CPC is a network of botanic gardens and other science and conservation partners, now including more than 60 institutions, that collaboratively works to save the imperiled plants of the United States and Canada.
 
CPC maintains the CPC National Collection of Endangered Plants, a living conservation collection of imperiled plants, by working to:
To date, they now have over one third of North American imperiled plants (1,500 of 4,400 kinds) secured in the CPC National Collection.
 
CPC publishes a monthly newsletter and have published  the CPC Best Plant Conservation Practices to Support Species Survival in the Wild.
 
Their pollinator database  shows the pollinators associated with a plant species and the reference links to the literature cited.
