Ranger Report - Thurs., Sept.9/2004

Wasn't that a party?!? Pete's Barn last Saturday was plenty full of positive vibrations. Some saying it may have been the best one yet?!? Fortunatly we had the foresight to hire Lakestone Remote Recording (www.lakestone.info 610-845-0980) to capture the whole event and soon you will be able to listen and decide for yourself.

Tuesday, Sept. 14, is bassist/vocalist Randy Wagner's birthday. We will be celebrating this the following evening (Wed., Sept. 15) at The Whitpain Tavern show.

Thursday, Sept. 16, we debut at The Blue Horse (formerly Mirabella's) in Blue Bell, PA, at 9:00pm and return there a month later on Thursday, Oct. 14.

Saturday, Sept. 18, we will be returning to Crazy Carl's in Schwenksville, PA. Old Blotter is opening for us (their reunion debut).

Sunday, Sept. 19, is our last Fitzwater Station outdoor show of the summer. Bring the whole kid. It's my birthday!

Friday, Sept. 24, the quartet debuts at The Drafting Room in Spring House, PA at 10:00pm.

Saturday, Sept. 25, is the 7th Annual Asher's Fall Fest '04 in Franconia, PA at 10:00am. See our schedule for details.

Also in the news: Some friends of mine in the Big Game Theatre group are currently appearing in the original play, "Descartes' Blues". It stars singer/songwriter Dance Wareham in the lead role of Rene Descartes. Dance has sung with Los Manatees at countless shows and we played on his last solo album. Manatee founding member Ray Adkins also helped with some of the music in the production.
