We had an awesome time December 18th at our final event for the year - Tropicalfete Countdown A Free Musical Gift to the Community Thanks to the Support of City Council Member Darlene Mealy, Citizens Committee for New York City, New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs, Brooklyn Music School, the parents and students. We ended the year on a high note!!!!! We are always thankful when Tropicalfete’s Steel Pan Ensemble, Our Stilting Unit and Dance and Masquerade is given a stage to showcase our craft. We are happy to say we did it again in 2016 and we are ready for 2017 as we plan to expand with more cultural programing. Thanks to all the artists Daria Primus, Mesha Steele, Sassy Ramoutar, Mervyn Carter Dr. Witty, Klick Band and our host Tanisha Burke for a wonderful job. Congratulations to our award of excellence awardee  Roger Meltzer.
