THE RETURN OF THE FITZWATER STATION! - As some of you may already know, the mighty Fitzwater Station in Mont Clare, PA, was severely damaged during the recent flooding caused by Hurricane Ida. The entire back deck was ripped off the building. The meadow and stage that we play on were completely underwater. But Frank and his crew have been working to get the place back up and running and we will be playing there on Sunday afternoon, October 17. Special musical guest: Ted The Fiddler. This is a free, outdoor, all-ages event. Lisa will be at the Mighty Manatees merchandise table. Pets are welcome but coolers are not. Showtime is 3:00 to 7:00. www.fitzwaterstation.com
RAS MYKYL'S BIRTHDAY! - On Friday, October 22, we will be playing outside at Justin's in Skippack, PA. We will be celebrating our drummer Ras Mykyl's birthday (which is actually the day before). We're going to let him choose the songs we play. Gifts are optional. Righteous vibes are mandatory. Showtime is 7:00 to 10:00.

CONCERT FOR CANAL RELIEF - And speaking of Hurricane Ida, we will be playing a benefit concert on Oct. 26, at the famous Colonial Theater in Phoenixville, PA, for the residents of Mont Clare and Port Providence who were flooded out. Also appearing: Ben Arnold, The Holts, and Cliff Hillis. This event is being hosted by VFC, SCA, and the Sly Fox Brewing Company. Tickets $25. 100% of all profits benefit the residents of Mont Clare and Port Providence affected by Hurricane Ida flooding. Doors open 5:00, Showtime 6:00. This is an indoor show. MANATEE RIB AT THE RIB HOUSE! - At a recent show, a Manatees fan by the name of Ralph donated an actual rib from a manatee to the Mighty Manatees Museum. The rib was originally removed from a discovered manatee skeleton near the coast of Florida. We thought the best place to display this manatee rib was the legendary Bridgeport Rib House in Bridgeport, PA. We will be performing there on Friday, October 29. Showtime is 8;30- 12;30. Come on out and check out the rib while you're having some ribs. It is said that holding the manatee rib for a few moments will bring you good luck. www.ribhouse.net
