MIGHTY MANATEES TO PLAY FREE CONCERT IN PARK TOMORROW! - This Thursday evening, June 18th, The Mighty Manatees will be playing a free, outdoor, all-ages, 90-minute concert at Upper Salford Park from 7:00PM to 8:30PM. Dogs & children are welcome! In case of rain you can get under the pavilion with us. This is the 4th year in a row that have been asked to play this park concert. We love to play outside! Special thanks to John "Manhattan Jack" Stacey.
THE DUGAN'S 11TH ANNUAL ROFO RIB-OFF! - Have you ever been to a Rib-Off? How about a Rib-Off in Royersford, PA 19468? We certainly have not. But next Saturday, June 27th, at 407 Gay Street, The Mighty Manatees will be there! There will also be a Moon Bounce, a Zip Line, a Ring Game, Darts, Ping Pong, a Tiki Toss, a Bean Bag Toss, Pinatas, Complimentary Beer (YARDS & Coors Light), Vodka Lemonade, Tomato Pies, Snacks, Drinks, Ribs, Sides, and Billy Bones BBQ! Noon to Midnight. Also appearing: DJ Timmy D and Jim Femino. Kid friendly. No dogs please. Tickets are $20 per adult but free admittance to everyone under 21. SMILING BOBBY 2015! - My eldest daughter Jules (who is due in December), has just released the first issue of her new self-published zine called, "Smiling Bobby". It is a collection of photographs of Bob Dylan smiling. The photos are accompanied by some great Dylan quotes. Because Bob is a frequent frowner and not known for his smiles, this new publication is quite refreshing. If you would like a copy of "Smiling Bobby" please contact me at any Mighty Manatees show.
