NEWS & OPINION

The instant demonstration by thousands of Tunisians who spilled into the streets of the capital to tell the world that they will not tolerate ISIL in their country, and will hunt them down and punish them, was a heartening scene. I hope to be able to visit Tunisia again in the near future.
The election in Israel is over, but you and Jews throughout diaspora can still vote for their representatives in the World Zionist Congress. Issues of vital importance are at stake.

ISRAEL

Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to stay Israel’s prime minister for the third consecutive time and fourth time overall, as his party, Likud, will have 30 seats in the 20th Knesset — more than the entire left-wing bloc.
Guy Haimov has been one of the best goalkeepers in Israeli soccer for years, but his only match for the national team was a big disappointment. Now he may have a chance to lead Israel to its greatest achievement in 45 years.
